The flat is across the street from the American Consulate - very safe - there's the guard in front of the American Consulate, another guard for the consulate in the front THIS building plus another guard about a half block away at the Olympic/Olympia Casino (at Liteyny). It's a pretty nice neighborhood - there's an ATM about halfway between the flat and Liteyny (1/4 block) - the metro (with another ATM) is a half block in the other direction. There's also a "hands-on" western-style grocery store a few blocks away - numerous cafes/restaurants - plenty of kiosks at the metro - the Neva is about 4 blocks away - Nevsky is less than a mile south - the Salvation-on-the-Blood Church is less than a mile to the West. (And the metro is half a block away)

The flat is on 4th floor - heavy metal door - combination door to the courtyard - Two bedrooms - full bath - washing machine - kitchen - comes with dishes/sheets/towels. There's an elevator/lift to the back door - we never used it - it's definitely "old style" - it was not "shown" to me whenI rented the flat - it may require special knowledge???
