Chip reading a "Lonely Planet" guide |

Chip drops his snuff in the trash. He's using this trip as an
opportunity to quit. |

Enterprise Rent-a-car at Houston Intercontinental Airport in Houston. We dropped
our car off there and rode their shuttle bus to the airport. |

Yep - that's me |

Leg Room!! Leg Room !! When you're both 6'8" you REALLY
need to sit in the Emergency Exit aisles. |

I thought that most of the food was pretty good - at least on
the flight over. |

The "People Mover" thing at the NY airport. I suppose
it has a more proper name... |

The "Baby Bed gizmo" worked very well. |

Another pretty good meal. I think that's Tiramisu in the bottom
right. |

Chip hasn't eaten much of the food. So now he resorts to eating
cheese and crackers. |

The baby was very well behaved. His mother played with him every
now and then. She was from Ukraine. |

Breakfast was both healthy and good. I don't think Chip enjoyed
it. |

The terminal at Stuttgart Germany |

Jan from Colorado and her Rabbit. |

One of the first things we noticed was these machines selling
the "Original" Budweiser. |

You can buy metro tickets from many newstands, tobacco stands
or machines like this. |

Here's Chip reading something. Probably something he got with
the tickets he bought. |

This picture is posed. Notice the look of extreme confusion on
Chips face. |

This picture is NOT posed. Notice the look of slight confusion
on Chips face. |

Our landlord gives us directions to the local sights. |

Fortunately there were two other beds that didn't have the headboards
and footboards. |

Our windows looked out onto one of the main streets and this
church. |

Not only did out flat have a grandfather clock, it had a china
cabinet (with china) and numerous marble topped tables. |

Our first meal was at this restaurant. A great place around the
corner from our flat. The wino leaning upagainst the wall followed
us EVERYWHERE. |

Prague Style goulash. And potato pancakes/dumplings - I forget
which |

Stuffed cabbage. And the potato things. Chip ordered this but
we traded. |

The Danube river is just ahead beyond the trees. The hill is
on the other side of the river. |

One of MANY great views we would encounter on our walks. I suppose
you get jaded with them if you live here. |

The river is to the right. All the buildings on the left face
the river. |

One of the few (If not the only) pictures of the beautiful women
of Prague. |

A street scene. I think the dark building on the far right is
the National Theater. The ground floor of the building on the
left is a very nice restaurant. |

Prague Castle on the hill and Charles Bridge to the right. |

This is the building earlier referred to as the "National
Theater" - I may be wrong. |

Some monument across the street from the river. I don't know
what/why. |

One of my favorite photographs. |

Another favorite photograph. |

A photograph back in the direction from which we had came. You
can see the monument and the "National Theater" |

Charles Bridge to the left. Prague Castle is on the hill to the
right. |

Some monument that's at the eastern end of the Charles Bridge.
Note the wino at the trash can on the right . |

The tower to the left is the home of the famous "Astrological
Clock" - this is a side view. There's a plaza just beyond.
(BSSD) |

The "Astrological Clock" - it was always surrounded
by tourists. (BSSD) |

I think this is the "House of the Three Violins". It's
in the emblem below and between the two middle windows. |

The plaza beyond the Astrological Clock - it can barely be seen
along the left edge. |

A tour group at the lower end of the main drag/square/mall. |

Chip has returned with a bottle of wine and two bags of potato
chips. |

Chip sleeps while I play on the computer. And take pictures :-) |

They're waiting for a rock/sports/TV/Movie star - or something |

The "Adria" Restaurant. My Mothers name is "Adria" |
